Born on 25 July 1954 in Popovo,
in 1981 he graduates Sofia National Academy of Arts, subject painting
in the first class of Svetlin Roussev.
In 1982 becomes a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists
1983 – first one-man show in Plovdiv
1983 - participation in international symposium in Kuopio, Finland
1984 – participation in the Art Festival in Kan, France
1985 - one-man show in Sofia and Berlin
1986-1993 – together with his colleagues he organizes festivals
of Modern Art in Targovishte
Participates in ‘Process – Space’ festival in Balchik
1989 - one-man show in Targovishte and Pazardjik
1990 – participation in ‘Autumn saloon’ Paris
1993 - one-man show in Sozopol, ‘Apolonia’ festival of Arts
1994 – participation in an exhibition- Doubrovnik gift
1997 - one-man show in Plovdiv
1997 - one-man show in ‘Tedi’ gallery and ‘Draka’ gallery
1998 - one-man show in ‘Romfeya’ gallery in Plovdiv
1999 - one-man show in ‘VIP’ gallery in Rousse and ‘Sikonko’ gallery
in Sofia
1999 – specialization in ‘Cité oes Arts’, Paris
Since 1990 he is a director of ‘Nokola Marinov’ gallery in Targovishte

Since 2002 he is an associate professor of arts in ‘Konstantin Preslavski’
University, Soumen.

TARGOVISHTE
ART SCHOOL
Targovishte Art School is an optional form of art training of
children and young people. Annually, 210 children have been trained
in all kinds of art, including computer drawing. The training
is individual, both preserving child’s nature and provoking experiments.
800 prizes have been awarded to Art School members on regional,
national and international exhibitions and competitions, for 22
years training activity.
12 Grand Prix have been awarded to children from the Art School.
360 super gold, gold, silver and bronze medals have been awarded
on international exhibition, 30 special prizes and participations
abroad, many first, second and third places and participations
in plainairs and awards to the Art School for its activity and
entire collection, also for non-standard collections and participations
all over the world: Italy, France, Hungary, the Republic of South
Africa, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Russia, Slovakia, Germany, Serbia,
Japan, Israel, Argentina, India, Macedonia, Turkey, Egypt, Finland
etc.
